Bible Studies

We offer Bible Studies year-round in Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer sessions.
We also offer a special Advent Bible study each year before Christmas.

Our Bible Study groups give you a place to grow in relationship with God, enjoy a small group setting, and make friends as we learn. Please join us for a study.
You can choose the one that is the best fit for your season of life, your learning style, and also your faith journey.

Summer Bible Studies begin in June and meet at homes throughout the metro area.
The studies being offered are listed below.

Joseph: The Journey to Forgiveness | Tuesdays 9:30AM | 6 weeks | Begins June 4 Led by Carol Record, Hosted by Donna Bornhoft | West Arvada

All of us know what it's like to be hurt or betrayed. Often, it's a small breach such as being spoken to rudely, overlooked in a time of need, experience lies, gossip, or harsh words. God knows the pain we cause each other and longs to help us learn to practice forgiveness. Nowhere do we see forgiveness played out more fully in Scripture than in the biblical story of Joseph.

This six-week study explores what God has to say to us about grace
and forgiveness through Joseph's story of trial and triumph found in
Genesis 37-50. As we study his dreams, his betrayers, his dysfunctional
family, his struggle to forgive, and his journey toward reconciliation,
we'll find truths that echo into our own personal situations.

The Power of Knowing God | Tuesdays 10AM | 6 weeks | Begins June 11
Led by Anita Horton, Hosted by Kim Heldman | Lakewood

You may know about God, but do you truly know what He says about Himself—and what He wants from you?

This eye-opening study will help you gain a true understanding of God’s character and His ways. As you discover for yourself who He is, you’ll be drawn into a deeper, more personal relationship with the God of the universe—a relationship that will enable you to confidently display His strength in life’s most challenging circumstances. This is a 6-week, 40-minute lesson with no homework.

Twelve Extraordinary Women | Tuesdays 6:30PM | 6 weeks | Begins June 4
Led by Joni Post, Hosted by Sharon Wilson | Arvada

Twelve Extraordinary Women offers a poignant and personal look into the
lives of some of the Bible's most faithful women, teaching modern believers
that true faith can leave a lasting legacy.

These women were ordinary, common, and in some cases even ostracized
and rejected by society, yet each was made extraordinary by her life-
changing encounter with God. John MacArthur shows us that the God to
whom they were so faithful is the same God who continues to mold and
guide us today.

Steadfast Love | Wednesdays 9:30AM | 7 weeks | Begins June 12
Led by Barb Bandimere, Hosted by Becky Grant | West Arvada

There are times when worship overflows effortlessly from a heart full of gratitude and praise. And there are times when God seems far and we feel we have nothing to offer. Throughout it all, God shows us His steadfast love.
Psalm 107 is a call to worship. It reminds us that each season of life is an opportunity to reveal the anchor of our souls. In this 7-session Bible study, learn to face both storms and deserts with courage and trust in Jesus, and discover how tests in our journeys of faith reveal the true condition of our hearts. For there is no fear for the one who fears the Lord, the one whose soul is anchored in His steadfast love.
